Environmental Regulations

Operators in the Rocky Mountains are also stewards of the land. They are the same people who take their kids hunting and fishing and hiking on the weekends. Most people who live in the West, live here because they enjoy outside recreations – and the bar was raised in past decades to ensure the footprint of oil and gas is minimal in the West. Numerous rules and regulations exist to ensure the environment is cared for properly. CBNGA believes in responsible energy development and operators in the Alliance are top stewards of the lands. They have won best management practice awards by the BLM and continue to look for ways to ensure their footprint is minimal.
